Our Story
The namesake of our studio comes from the historical study and practice of Alchemy, whose lineage can be traced through many peaks of humankind’s achievement and enlightenment.
In modern language, alchemy is often misconstrued as the singular goal of transmuting base metals into gold. However, what we now call alchemy is a vast body of knowledge that spans some four millennia and three continents.
Far from a pseudo-science, alchemy in its historical context represents something much, much greater.
Alchemic texts encompass everything from the earliest chemistry and scientific methods, to deep philosophical lessons about the nature of the world, and even the roots of many of the world’s largest religions.
The common tenants of alchemy promote a deep understanding of the nature of the universe, both materialistically and philosophically; To understand the patterns and behaviors of nature and learn how to harness them to accomplish astonishing things, in any endeavor.
We don the mantle of the Alchemist to bring this ancient wisdom to modern-day challenges and pursuits:
